How Can We Help?

Each class is responsible for forming their reunion committee and for making reunion plans.  Whether it be casual or formal, inside or outside, catered or pot-luck, a reunion is a guaranteed good time! Once your committee has formed, the Advancement and Alumni Office at Kennedy is ready to help make your reunion a success.  Please be sure to keep Kennedy informed of the plans, as we receive many calls and e-mails regarding reunions.

We encourage all of our alumni to consider holding your reunion here at Kennedy.  There is no cost to use the school and our remodeled commons provide a beautiful setting.  We do ask, however, that when determining the cost for your reunion, you include an extra contribution for a class gift.  This will help us to be able to continue to offer many of the alumni services we currently provide.

Here’s what Kennedy can do for you:

 1) Kennedy’s Alumni Office will provide your reunion committee with a class list printed from our database.  We advise the committee to verify and update addresses, keeping Kennedy informed of any changes.

 2) Kennedy will provide two mailings to your class.  Usually a “Save the Date” postcard is sent once you’ve chosen the reunion date.  The second mailing is a more detailed invitation.  The invitation is designed by the committee and can be as simple as an informative letter. If formal invitations are produced at Kennedy, the Advancement and Alumni Office will cover the mailing costs.

 3) If your class decides to hold its reunion somewhere other than at the school, and a deposit is required, our Alumni Office can offer up to $200 for that purpose.  This deposit must be returned once the reunion is held.

 4) Reunion information will be posted on the Kennedy Catholic web site and, if time permits, it will be listed in the Frontiers Newsletter.  We will list any “lost” classmates in an effort to help locate all members of the class.

The Director of Alumni Relations will attend your class reunion and assist with registration.  We have found that this will allow committee members to enjoy the party with the rest of their classmates.  Our Alumni Office will also provide name tags for all attendees, provided the list is submitted to our office at least one week in advance of the reunion.

After the reunion, all are welcome to submit photos to the Director of Alumni Relations.  These will be posted in the alumni section of the web site for all to enjoy, especially those classmates who were unable to attend the reunion.

For more information or questions regarding reunions, contact the Kennedy Alumni Office at 636-227-5900 or email Jessica Gonzalez, Director of Alumni Relations.
